Job Description

ETL Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid
Work Arrangement: Onsite 3+ days/week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines supporting AI-powered customer operations and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, and Alteryx.

  • Build cloud-based data workflows across GCP and AWS.

  • Develop pipelines supporting AI Ops, Agentic AI, and Conversational AI use cases.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Implement data quality, error handling, orchestration, and production support best practices.

  • Collaborate with data architects, AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

  • Create reusable frameworks, standards, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of ETL/ELT development or data engineering experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, and Alteryx.

  • Strong knowledge of GCP and AWS data services.

  • Experience building large-scale, cloud-based ETL pipelines.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and pipeline orchestration.

  • Production troubleshooting and performance optimization experience.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
