Job Title: ETL Developer / Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

W2 Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer / Data Engineer with strong expertise in Talend ETL development to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building ETL pipelines, integrating SOAP/REST web services, and working with relational databases in a collaborative Agile environment.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of ETL/Data Engineering experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Talend development (Must Have)

  • Experience implementing SOAP and REST Web Services in Talend

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL databases

  • Experience developing ETL transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and Flat Files

  • Proficiency with Git, Jira, and Confluence

  • Strong SQL, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Talend

  • Build integrations with SOAP and REST APIs

  • Develop data transformations for multiple file formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files

  • Work with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL databases to extract, transform, and load data

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable data solutions

  • Use Git for version control and Jira/Confluence for Agile project tracking and documentation

  • Troubleshoot ETL processes and optimize performance
