Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Oracle Commerce Cloud Support Engineer with strong expertise in ETL, databases, and production support. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL, PL/SQL programming, Linux shell scripting, and data analysis, ensuring seamless data processing and integration across multiple database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-call production support, promptly identifying and resolving defects while maintaining SLA commitments.
  • Monitor and analyze job logs and performance metrics to detect trends and proactively address potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot production issues by reviewing logs, implementing design changes, and following established change management procedures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures, system configurations, and best practices.
  • Manage and resolve data load delays and database server downtimes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and optimize data processing workflows.
  • Work on database integrations between Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata.
Technical Skills Required:
  • 4-7 years of experience in SaaS Oracle Commerce Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL and database technologies (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server).
  • Proficiency in SQL (minimum intermediate level).
  • Expertise in Linux shell scripting (file manipulation, file transfers, automation).
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Database (Multi-Tenant architecture, schemas, roles, grants).
  • Advanced PL/SQL programming (Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, anonymous scripts).
  • GIT configuration control experience.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including data flow, integration, and data preparation for consumers.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
