Job Description
Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience in enterprise data engineering and ETL pipeline development.
- Proficiency in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms and commodity trade lifecycle data.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database design, advanced stored procedures, and SSIS packages.
- Experience in Python scripting for data transformation utilizing Pandas, NumPy, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Oracle database querying, cross-platform integration, and query performance optimization.
- Experience in enterprise data warehousing, dimensional modeling, SSRS reporting, and Power BI dashboards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-throughput ETL data pipelines integrating ETRM platforms with enterprise applications.
- Develop custom Python scripts to automate complex data transformations, validation rules, and API connections.
- Optimize enterprise SQL Server stored procedures, indexing schemes, and high-volume database queries.
- Build and manage production-grade data integration packages utilizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Extract, transform, and integrate energy trading datasets across heterogeneous Oracle and SQL Server environments.
- Implement automated data quality validation frameworks and dimensional models for the enterprise data warehouse.
- Deliver operational trade reporting solutions and interactive analytical dashboards using SSRS and Power BI.
