 The Role

As a Warehouse Operative – Cross Functional, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of warehouse duties. Working as a valued team member, you will help maintain smooth operations while contributing to a well-organised and safe working environment.

• Assist in all areas of the Inventory & Logistics department as needed, including maintaining cleanliness.
•  Pick and prepare items according to order requirements for both internal and external customers from the small parts area.
• Maintain inventory & asset stock in the small parts area by conducting regular stock counts and checks.
• Record stock levels in warehouse management systems through cycle counts; primarily in the small parts area.
• Assist in stock rotation, consolidation and inventory movements where required.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor belts.
• Unload deliveries and check them against purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
• Sort, label, and store incoming goods in designated areas.
• Prepare goods for invoicing, packing and shipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Assist in preparing documentation is completed for shipment of goods.
• Safely load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Identify and report any potential safety issues or risks.

 About You

Being proficient at working in a fast-paced environment, you will bring your previous Warehouse experience, along with knowledge of working with ERP to the position, meaning the in-depth training you receive from us will be bolstered by your own knowledge and experience. Furthermore, you will have:

• A strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations and procedures
• Good computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Relevant experience in a similar role or an environment where you developed transferable skills
• The ability to handle manual tasks, including frequent walking, kneeling, and reaching
• A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to challenges
