Burns Auto Group is looking for an experienced automotive professional with leadership or management experience who is ready to learn our organization and position themselves to lead one of our European specialty shops.
This is not an entry-level management opportunity, and we're not looking to teach someone how to lead a shop from scratch.
We're looking for someone who already knows how to lead—and is willing to learn how we do it.
Burns Auto Group operates seven independently branded automotive repair shops across Colorado, including multiple shops specializing in European vehicles.
As our company continues to grow, so do our current leaders.
That creates opportunities.
Our goal is to have the next leader already on our team when those opportunities arise.
The right person may initially join Burns Auto Group in a Service Advisor role at one of our European specialty shops.
That's intentional—and it's not because we're looking for an inexperienced manager.
Before someone takes responsibility for one of our locations, we want them to understand our processes, our procedures, our culture, and our expectations firsthand.
You'll work within our operation, learn our SOPs, understand how we manage the customer experience and shop workflow, and build relationships with the technicians, advisors, and leadership team you'll eventually be responsible for leading.
At the same time, we'll have the opportunity to see your leadership in action.
Our goal is to have you prepared to step into shop management as one of our current leaders advances within the company.
We're looking for someone who brings a combination of automotive experience, leadership experience, and European vehicle knowledge.
The right candidate should:
We're not simply looking for an Advisor who thinks they might like to become a manager someday.
We're looking for someone who has already demonstrated leadership and is ready for their next opportunity.
Because we believe the best way to understand our company is to work inside it.
Even an experienced manager needs time to learn:
We don't need to teach you what leadership is.
We need you to learn how leadership works here.
That experience is what prepares you to step into management with credibility, relationships, and a complete understanding of our operation.
As Burns Auto Group grows, our people grow with us.
When one of our current managers moves into a larger role within the company, we don't want to begin searching for their replacement.
We want the next person already here.
Already trained in our processes.
Already part of our culture.
Already trusted by our team.
Already demonstrating what they can do.
And ready to step up when the opportunity arrives.
That's our Next Man Up philosophy, and that's the purpose behind this position.
My name is Ben Burns, and I own seven automotive repair shops throughout the Denver area.
I started this company after working in shops where employees weren't appreciated. I promised myself that if I ever owned my own business, we'd do things differently.
As we've grown, we've also created opportunities for our people to grow.
We want strong leaders throughout our organization—and we want people ready to step up as those opportunities develop.
If you've already proven you can lead in the automotive industry, have experience in the European repair world, and are looking for an organization where there's room to grow, I'd like to meet you.
We're not looking to teach you how to become a manager.
We're looking to show you how we operate so you'll be ready to become one of ours.
