Stathakis is seeking a motivated and experienced Area Manager in Farmington Hills, MI. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and supporting janitorial operations, team performance, customer service, and daily service delivery across customer facilities. The ideal candidate has experience leading teams, resolving issues, maintaining service quality, and supporting safe and efficient operations across assigned territory.

The Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring that janitorial and cleaning services are delivered consistently, efficiently, and according to company and client standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Janitorial Manager, Cleaning Operations Manager, Facilities Manager, or Area Supervisor who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily janitorial cleaning operations across assigned geographic area.
• Maintain, train, coach, and motivate janitorial staff and team leaders.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections at customer facilities.
• Ensure service delivery meets company standards and customer expectations
• Manage team performance and help meet or exceed operational goals
• Support operational changes and process improvements
• Respond quickly and professionally to customer concerns, service issues, and employee-related matters.
• Monitor staffing levels, attendance, schedules, and employee performance.
• Perform facility inspections and create action plans to correct service deficiencies.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies, equipment, chemicals, and personal protective equipment.
• Monitor labor hours and help control operational costs.
• Communicate regularly with customers and company leadership regarding service performance.
• Performing cleaning duties of employees when needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing, leading, or supervising a successful team.
• Experience with customer relationship management.
• Experience managing multiple customer locations a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, approachable, and dependable work ethic.
• Flexibility to work across departments, shifts, and some weekends.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to conduct inspections and identify cleaning and service deficiencies.
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities.
• Ability to support company culture and team engagement.

Educations and Requirements:

• • 2 years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma required
• Valid drivers license
• Must pass a motor vehicle record check

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday-Friday
• 4:00 pm-12:30 am
• Some weekends may be required
