Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Evening Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator - Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for assisting the Clinical Supply Chain Manager in the control of inventory supplies for Perioperative Services, and assists in accomplishing facility inventory turn goals and other inventory related objectives within the department, including but not limited to, accurate recommended reorder points, reorder quantities, limit out of stock issues, increase use of consignment and ongoing evaluation of supply movement. Implements strategies that will financially and administratively enhance service and utilizes the functioning of the department maximizing all resources available to accomplish its goals. Also responsible for first line supervision of all Clinical Supply Chain activities, staff scheduling, shift management and the coordination of delivery of medical surgical supplies to the Surgical and Procedural Suites

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates the ability to maximize resources and is skillful in adjusting resources according to the workload and volume.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates ability and skills to monitor, audit and enhance the quality of the process and products manufactured or rendered to customers by the department.
• Utilizes effectively time and manages to complete assignments within the allotted time.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and technical expertise in inventory control principles.
• Accurately and consistently follows documentation guidelines in all phases of the process as required by the department and regulatory agencies.
• Supplier Selection- Establishes business cases supporting sourcing recommendations based on input from various sources.
• Demonstrates knowledge in generating and interpreting statistical, productivity, and quality performance reports and utilizes the data to improve the departments performance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of managerial principles by consistently utilizing problem analysis, group dynamics and staff skills analysis in an objective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent and/or experience in a Healthcare related field or a combination of similar education and experience. 2 years of related healthcare experience. Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management general operations. Strong skills related to the management of inventory control with a minimum 3 years of responsible of progressive work experiences in supply distribution. Knowledge of specific health care products. Current membership and active participation in a relevant professional organizations. Must possess basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred. 1-2 years of EPIC/patient scheduling experience. 2-3 years of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience. Certification in Materials Resources (CMRP). Experience in computerized inventory control with an emphasis on medical/surgical supplies. (Peoplesoft 9 preferred)

The salary range for the role is $66,300.00 - $67,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
