General Summary: The Evening Mentors Supervisor must be available Monday through Friday. Release time is to be determined by their duties and responsibilities, including the overall coverage of their position and shift. The Evening Mentors Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing Upward Bound students and directing Mentors and all activities. The Evening Mentors Supervisor will also perform other program-related duties as assigned. The Evening Mentors Supervisor will be required to attend all staff training during June. Four (4) hours of training will be given over a two (2) day period during June. The Upward Bound Activities Coordinator or Evening Mentors Supervisor provides direct supervision to all mentors. Duties and Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Program Director \u00b7 Serve as a mentor and role model for Mentors and program participants. \u00b7 Provide tutoring and counseling as appropriate. \u00b7 Chaperon off campus / trips. \u00b7 Assist with on and off-campus program activities, including Study Hall. \u00b7 Assist Activities Coordinator with on-campus activities. \u00b7 Perform other program-related duties as assigned. \u00b7 Ensure the safety of Upward Bound students and mentors in the dormitory and hotels while on trips. \u00b7 Adhere to the Student Code of Conduct and Housing Contract Stipulations. \u00b7 Follow Edward Waters University / Upward Bound Dress Code. \u00b7 Follow Edward Waters University Code of Conduct Behavioral Expectations: \u00b7 Customer Service Orientated.
