Description
- Provide basic cleaning of assigned areas.
- Provide deep cleaning of common spaces, restrooms, and other areas as assigned and/or needed.
- Complete janitorial work orders as assigned and in a timely manner.
- Report repair or maintenance needs as observed during daily activities.
- Assist with set-up and/or takedown for special services, concerts, plays, and other events or activities, as scheduled or needed.
- Provide scheduled cleaning and servicing of restrooms and common areas prior to evening and weekend events when needed.
- Assist maintenance staff in periodic tasks related to weather or seasonal needs, such as snow removal, mowing, or cleanup of leaves and lawn debris.
- Other duties as assigned, based upon the needs of the school or department.
- Experience working in a janitorial or maintenance position is desirable.
- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, positive work ethic, and ability to work independently.
- Ability and willingness to coordinate with team members and take direction.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of the materials, tools, methods, and equipment used to perform janitorial operations.
