Unarmed Security Officer – Part-Time Afterschool Position
School Security | West Lawn, PA | $20.00 per Hour


KRE Security, LLC is hiring a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer for a permanent, part-time afterschool position at a school campus in West Lawn, PA.


This position offers a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule that is perfect for someone seeking supplemental income, steady afternoon hours, and a professional work environment. You’ll help maintain a safe and welcoming campus during afterschool programs, extracurricular activities, and dismissal-related operations.


Schedule


Monday–Friday
3:45 PM–7:00 PM

•  No weekends 
•  No late nights 
•  No rotating schedule 
•  Permanent school assignment 
•  Consistent weekday hours 
•  Team-oriented work environment 
•  Additional hours may be available at school events 

Pay


$20.00 per hour


Opportunities for additional hours may be available during sporting events, extracurricular activities, and special events.


Responsibilities

•  Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the campus 
•  Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor access during afterschool activities 
•  Conduct routine patrols of the school building and surrounding grounds 
•  Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations 
•  Complete clear, accurate, and timely incident reports 
•  Work professionally with administrators, staff, students, visitors, and supervisors 
•  Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment 
•  Follow all site procedures and emergency-response protocols 
•  Respond calmly and professionally to incidents when necessary 

Qualifications

•  Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining reliable attendance 
•  Professional appearance and demeanor 
•  Strong communication and customer service skills 
•  Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in a school environment 
•  Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols throughout the shift 
•  Must successfully complete all required background checks and school clearances 
•  Clearance-process guidance will be provided; applicants are responsible for associated fees 
•  Previous security, customer service, military, law enforcement, corrections, education, or public-safety experience is preferred but not required 
• No security experience is required—we will train the right candidate
