Site Supervisor - Retail Security

Are you an experienced security professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We are seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee security operations at a busy retail shopping center in Garden City, NY. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and prior supervisory experience in a retail or commercial security environment.

• Friday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Monday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tuesday: Off
• Wednesday: Off
• Thursday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support on-site security officers, ensuring all post orders and company policies are followed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and security staff during assigned shifts.
• Maintain a strong, visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property, including retail stores, parking lots, and common areas.
• Monitor security operations and respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Complete and review incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.
• Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance oversight of security personnel.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is provided while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Coordinate with mall management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work in Garden City, NY.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License required.
• Valid NYS Driver''s License with a clean driving record required.
• Prior security supervisory or leadership experience required and must be present on your resume.
• Retail, mall, or commercial security experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong report writing and computer skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and commitment to outstanding customer service.
