Part-Time Evening Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our coaching team and help athletes of all ages reach their full potential.

Position Overview
This position is primarily responsible for coaching evening D1 Training classes Monday through Friday.
Schedule
Monday – Friday
- Devo (Ages 12-14): 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
- Adult Class: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Rookie (Ages 7-11): 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Prep (Ages 15-18): 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
This role requires a coach who can maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout the entire evening while delivering a consistent, high-quality training experience.

D1 Training is a nationally recognized athletic-based training system headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Our programs are designed using the same principles found in Division I collegiate strength and conditioning programs.

Job Summary
The D1 Evening Coach serves as the leader of the training floor during evening programming.
You will coach pre-designed D1 workouts, provide real-time instruction and motivation, ensure athlete safety, and create an engaging training environment that keeps members coming back.
The ideal candidate can command a room, coach proper movement mechanics, manage large groups of athletes, and create an atmosphere that feels like a collegiate strength and conditioning program.
You should coach every session with the professionalism, intensity, and accountability expected from a Division I strength coach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Group Training Sessions
- Coach scheduled evening D1 Training classes
- Execute D1 programming exactly as designed
- Demonstrate exercises and proper movement mechanics
- Deliver clear coaching cues and corrections
- Maintain athlete safety during all workouts
- Ensure workouts begin and end on schedule
Develop Athletes
- Build relationships with athletes and families
- Encourage effort, discipline, and accountability
- Modify exercises when necessary based on age, ability, or injury history
- Track athlete progress and celebrate successes
- Create a positive and motivating training environment
Deliver a Championship-Level Experience
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to every session
- Maintain a professional presence on the training floor
- Support member retention through exceptional coaching
- Foster a team-first culture among athletes and staff
- Uphold all D1 Training coaching standards
Facility Support
- Assist with equipment organization and cleanliness
- Participate in coach development and staff meetings
- Support community events, sports performance combines, and local outreach opportunities as needed
- Close down the facility and prep it for the next morning's classes
Qualifications
Required
- CPR/AED Certification
- Ability to work Monday through Friday evenings
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for coaching youth athletes and adults
- Ability to lead groups with confidence and energy
Preferred Certifications
One or more of the following:
- NSCA-CSCS
- NSCA-CPT
- NASM-CPT
- NASM-PES
- USAW Level 1
- ACE Personal Trainer Certification
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of strength and conditioning coaching
- Experience coaching athletes ages 7-18
- Experience in group fitness or sports performance training
- Collegiate, professional, or high-level athletic background
Education
Bachelor's Degree in:
- Exercise Science
- Kinesiology
- Sports Performance
- Athletic Training
- Related field preferred

Compensation
Coaching Sessions
- Tier 1 Coach: $22 per session
- Tier 2 Coach: $25 per session
- Tier 3 Coach: $27 per session
