Event Attendant - Hudson Holidays
Part Time Non-Exempt
$18.00 to $18.50
Position Summary:
Under the close supervision of the Event Venue Sales Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring smooth entry and exit into the Hudson Holidays event . You will be responsible for welcoming guests, scanning tickets, providing information about the event and assisting with crowd management. This seasonal position requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment from November 28-January 4th on select days. Shifts would be from 4:00-9:00 PM.

Working Environment:
The work is performed outdoors in the evening. Outdoor working environments can be wet, windy, snowy, and extreme in temperature variations, and loud background noises. This position is subject to continuous interruptions, background noises, flashing lights, and an array of distractions, i.e. music.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Upper body strength is a requisite to lift/move up to 25 lbs. unassisted. Vision requirements include: near acuity, far acuity, and depth perception. Must exhibit manual dexterity to manipulate smartphones and ticket readers. The ability to talk and hear through face-to-face communication is needed.
