About the Role

As an Event Communications Assistant, you will support event-based marketing campaigns, communicate important information to attendees, and help create positive experiences for community members and supporters. You will play an important role in increasing awareness, strengthening relationships, and representing campaigns in a professional and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with communication efforts during promotional events, community campaigns, and outreach initiatives.
  • Represent organizations, brands, and campaigns professionally at events and public engagements.
  • Interact with attendees to provide information about programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Communicate campaign messaging clearly and effectively through face-to-face conversations.
  • Support event materials, displays, signage, and on-site activities.
  • Increase awareness and engagement through direct customer and community interactions.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming presence at all events.
  • Collect attendee feedback and provide insights to improve campaign efforts.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No previous event, communications, or marketing experience required.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Professional, dependable, and motivated work ethic.
