Your Role: Event Coordinator
As an Event Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our clients’ tech needs are met from planning to execution. You’ll collaborate with show managers, site teams, and high-profile clients to deliver flawless service and unforgettable experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Be the bridge between clients and tech; consult on Internet and Telephony needs
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure every detail is covered
- Attend planning visits and pre-conference meetings to get ahead of the curve
- Build custom quotes based on event history and client goals
- Keep orders updated and communicate changes with precision
- Resolve billing questions and suggest smart service upgrades
- Use proprietary software to manage customer interactions and event logistics
- Support customer service staff and respond to inquiries with confidence
- Train junior staff and assist managers with special projects
- Prepare post-show reports and collaborate across departments
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends when events go live
What You’ll Bring
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office; especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Calm, professional demeanor; even when juggling multiple priorities
- Confident communication and a polished presence
- Familiarity with telecom or network services is a plus
- Quick learning and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bonus: experience in trade shows, hospitality, or telecommunications
