Job Summary
The event management assistant student employee is responsible for assisting in all game day duties for Lindenwood Athletics home events and outside rentals. This position is designated the event operations contact for assigned sports.

Job Responsibilities
Acts as the primary game day contact for assigned sports
Designs and schedules all advertisements on TV displays throughout campus
Acts as a liaison with football referees
Prepares visiting team guides
Operates video board in Hyland Arena, Hunter Stadium and Centene Community Ice Center
Provides excellent attention to detail and customer service to ensure optimal game day experiences
Works closely with coaches on game day activities
Assists in scheduling and supervising student employee positions
Provides event setup for athletic fields and arenas
Sells tickets for home events
Develops and implements promotions for assigned sports
Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
Job may require other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
Currently enrolled at Lindenwood University
Good academic and financial standing with the university
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities –May be representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the job competently.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines
Knowledge of best practices in marketing and event management
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
