Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial client consultation to post-event follow-up.
  • Develop creative event concepts and detailed proposals tailored to client needs and budgets.
  • Coordinate with vendors, chefs, service staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event operations.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.
  • Conduct site visits and manage venue logistics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure all events meet The Classic Catering People's high standards for quality, service, and presentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during events.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing events from conception to completion.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
