Event Marketing Specialist (Entry Level)

Pay:
$31.47.hr
Duration: 1 yr
Location: Role will be onsite in Marlborough, MA - Must be willing to work 5 days a week onsite
 
Overview:
The Events Coordinator, Americas supports the planning and execution of in-person events and marketing activities by coordinating logistics, managing vendor and registration processes, handling expenses, and maintaining tracking tools and documentation.

This position reports to the Americas Senior Manager, Marketing Communications and Technical Marketing and is part of the Americas commercial organization located in the United States and will be located in our Marlborough, MA office.

In this role, you will support:
  • Event coordination & logistics: planning and execution of in-person events, including venue sourcing, catering, registration, and on-site requirements
  • Vendor & stakeholder coordination: engagement with conference organizers, vendors and internal teams to manage event services and ensure on time delivery
  • Administrative activities: expense management, shipping logistics, marketing support requests, utilization of tracking tools to maintain organized and efficient event operations

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), with 2+ years of experience in event planning or marketing
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with the ability to thrive independently in deadline driven environments while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal acumen\
  • Ability to independently manage priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A demonstrated ability to take ownership and move to action with a proactive, solution oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 25% in Canada and United States
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 40lb
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Project management platforms and collaborative digital workspace software (e.g., Trello, Microsoft Project, Miro, etc)
  • B2B marketing campaign execution
  • Analysis and interpretation of performance data related to in-person events or marketing campaigns
