Are you a motivated team player with a passion for sales and hospitality? We're looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton, Battle Creek. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, where they can showcase their excellent written and oral communication skills while representing our hotel’s services and facilities to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Inquiries & Client Relationships: Respond to sales inquiries for rooms, meeting spaces, food & beverage services, and more. Maintain and foster strong client relationships, hosting site visits and answering questions.
- Lead Generation: Proactively research, prospect, qualify leads, and solicit potential clients, driving new business and sales opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation & Proposals: Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and provide strategic solutions that meet the hotel’s financial goals while delivering outstanding guest service.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales plans, analyze market trends, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure all hotel services are leveraged to maximize revenue.
- Banquet Event Orders: to increase revenues and ensure successful events.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in hotel or sales office experience, with a strong background in guest contact areas. Previous sales experience in hospitality is required.
- Skills: Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand and adapt to the changing market, customer needs, and business objectives.
