Job Description
Develop and cultivate relationships with both on and off campus customers. Provide support, information, and guidance in the process of scheduling and planning departmental events in Liberty University facility. Data entry of work orders and event logistics Front desk and office welcome for all customers. Assist with scheduling and logistics for all University events. Help enforce University policies and standards for summer events and conference. Maintain open and closing duties for event facilities. Put in work orders or make event managers aware of problems/situation Help develop standard operational procedures for the University Events Office. Promote an atmosphere of professionalism and outstanding customer service in accordance with the Liberty Way. Complete special projects as assigned. Remains abreast of all events held on campus. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
Education and Experience
Working toward a four-year degree in business or marketing or equivalent professional work experience required. Well-developed interpersonal communications skills and familiar with standard Microsoft Office computer software. High School degree or GED required.

Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is within merchant business environment and climate-controlled office setting. It is well lit and the noise level is moderate.
Driving Requirements
Use of one’s personal vehicle is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.

Starting at $12.77
Student employees are paid at least the current Virginia minimum wage per hour. Pay may vary by position and department based on job responsibilities, required skills, available funding, and market conditions.
