Volunteer Photographer Wanted: Help Us Capture 40 Years of Impact!

King County Dispute Resolution Center (KCDRC) is turning 40, and we're throwing a party to celebrate four decades of helping people navigate conflict with skill, compassion, anddignity. We're looking for a volunteer photographer to help us capture the joy, connection, and candid moments of this milestone event.

What you'll do:

  • Take candid, documentary-style photos of guests mingling, laughing, and celebrating
  • Capture a few key moments (toasts, remarks, group shots—nothing too formal)
  • Help us tell the story of our community through images we can use for future outreach and gratitude

When & Where:

  • Wednesday February 18
  • 4:30 – 8:00 pm
  • Northeast Seattle - Lake City area (event details shared upon confirmation)

Who you are:

  • Comfortable shooting in low-light, party-style settings
  • Friendly, unobtrusive, and good at catching real moments as they happen
  • A hobbyist, student, or professional photographer—all are welcome!

Why volunteer with us?

  • Be part of a meaningful community celebration
  • Get credit and heartfelt thanks from a respected local nonprofit
  • Enjoy good vibes, good people, and a great cause

Interested? Send a quick note with a link to a few sample photos (if you have them) to [contact info here].

Help us make 40 years of bridge-building memories last another 40.
