Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Event Planner to coordinate and manage events from initial inquiry through execution. This role involves client communication, logistical planning, coordination with internal teams, and on-site event oversight to ensure every event runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Develop event plans, layouts, timelines, and service schedules
- Coordinate with catering, kitchen, bar, and event staff
- Arrange rentals, décor, equipment, and staffing as needed
- Conduct site walkthroughs and oversee event setup
- Serve as the primary point of contact during events
- Manage last-minute changes and resolve issues promptly
- Follow up with clients after events as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional appearance and customer-service mindset
- Valid driver's license preferred for site visits
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekend support
Shift Length: 6-8 hours
Pay:$18.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
