Event ProducerPRA Events is seeking a reliable and qualified Event Producer who is detail-oriented with an ability to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced and hands-on work environment. We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude to oversee and organize events across the Hawaiian IslandsApplicants must reside in Hawaii to be considered for this role.Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):Responsible for the logistical management and operational execution of client events and programs pre-and post-productionServes as the primary contact for the client during the pre-planning and operation of the client's program post-sale and ensures the expectations of the client are exceeded to promote client satisfaction and account retentionManagement of all vendor quotes, orders and acquiring required servicesManagement of all shipping and trucking, load lists and product pull listsDevelop run sheets/full detailed timelines, show flows and event blueprintsManagement of event staff, contracted vendors, and entertainersManagement of all event décor, floral, branding, signage and custom projectsAttend required client meetings both virtually and in-personPoint of contact for hotel and client during planning process and onsite Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occurCreation and management of program budgetsResponsible for submitting preliminary and final billing statements for every programQualifications1+ years of experience in Event Management of corporate meetings, client events, and other complex programs. DMC, corporate incentive travel, hospitality or related experience highly preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of clients, vendors and coworkersAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, vendors and hoteliersAbility to multitask and work on multiple programs with different deadlinesMust be able to work well with all levels of management and staff, hoteliers, clients and vendorsMust be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidaysMust be able to travel to neighboring islandsSalary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
