About the Role:
DAI, INC is looking for dedicated and professional Event Security personnel to join our team in Frederick, MD. We are looking for immediate help at the Great Frederick Fair September 18- September 26, 2026.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments where your presence makes a real difference in keeping people safe and events running smoothly.



Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points at event venues to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas
• Conduct crowd management and maintain order throughout the duration of events
• Perform bag checks, ID verification, and screening procedures as required
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed
• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity or security threats
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred
• Must have Maryland Security Guard card, or willing to take course on Sept 12, 2026
• Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods of time
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance
• Valid security license or willingness to obtain required certifications
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass a background check
