Event Server Principal responsibility is to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create exceptional experiences for all guests for contracted events at The Madison Event Center and Hotel Covington. Duties: - Remain guest focused while performing all assigned duties before, during and after an event
- Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of each guest’s experience
- Welcome and greet guests upon entering The Madison Event Center/Hotel Covington
- Provide information about our food, beverages and other functions and services
- Perform side work during each shift as assigned by Banquet Captain
- Maintain clean and fully stocked prep area, restrooms and ballroom
- Ready and willing to assist other team members with event duties
- Handle tables, chairs, linens, tableware and décor carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Always follow safe food handling guidelines
- Clean and reset ballroom at the end of every event
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and provide suggestions for improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Uniform Requirements: - Black pants (You provide) and long sleeve black shirt (We Provide)
- Black non-slip shoes with black socks (You Provide)
- $15 hourly
- Part-time hours will vary depending on events scheduled
- Eligible for annual review and merit
