Rhubarb is a chef-driven, farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville serving modern Appalachian cuisine with genuine hospitality. What does that mean? That at Rhubarb, we believe in people-first hospitality from our employees to our farm partners to our guests. We are hiring a Baker, but the person will always come before the role.

The Person 

As an Event Server at Rhubarb, you believe that great service starts with a genuine personality. You believe that the whole process is important when it comes to dining: from sourcing our produce and proteins locally and farm-direct, tosustainability, to working as a team to execute a consistent experience for our guests. You are looking to supplement an existing schedule or interested in part time work.

The Role

• Assist the Special Event Coordinator in setting up the Event Space according the Banquet Event Order
• Greet guests and respond to inquiries as they enter the space
• Run food and beverages according to the BEO and timeline
• Clear and reset small wares as needed
• Assist with event break down

The Qualifications

• 1-2 years of guest-facing/customer service experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 50lbs
