A leading staffing agency is seeking a reliable Building Operations Technician for a Convention Center. In this role, youâll be responsible for setting up and breaking down stages, risers, seating, and other event infrastructure. This is a hands-on position requiring physical labor, teamwork, and attention to detail to ensure smooth event setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble stages, risers, seating, and other equipment.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
- Ensure safety standards are met during setups and breakdowns.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and building operations staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Experience with event setup or similar hands-on work.
- Basic carpentry or construction skills are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
