Event sous chefs on our team are responsible for production areas as assigned by lead chef and often supervise a small team in their area. Typically events shift run a minimum of five hours and up to ten hours depending on event format. Larger events outside during warmer weather, such as tented weddings, may involve paid travel and longer shifts. We are looking for sous chefs who ideally have experience with offsite catered events, setting up and breaking down field kitchens, managing small teams of up to five people, and have developed well-rounded culinary skills including pastry. The position offers flexible scheduling as shifts are scheduled in accordance with our event schedule.
