Event Specialist (Temporary - 6 Month Contract)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Event Specialist to join our client's team on a 6-month temporary contract in Oceanside, CA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating memorable events from start to finish.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events including meetings, corporate functions, and special programs

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, vendors, and clients throughout the event lifecycle

• Manage event logistics such as scheduling, venue setup, catering, audio/visual needs, and on-site coordination

• Assist with event budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective execution

• Conduct site visits and ensure event spaces meet client expectations and brand standards

• Prepare event materials, timelines, and run-of-show documents

• Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting issues as they arise

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event delivery

• Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and vendor communications

• Evaluate event success and provide post-event reporting and feedback

Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or related field

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Envision or Oracle software system experince is preferred

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Position Details:

• Onsite role

• 6 month contract role

• Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

• Located in Oceanside, CA

• Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
