Summary:
Event staff needed for a few events happening on campus at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Shifts are mixed between bartenders, buffet attendants, and dishroom.
Bartenders - Provide responsible beer and wine service to guests during event operations. Verify identification as needed, maintain a clean and organized bar area, monitor beverage supplies, and deliver friendly customer service. Assist with event setup and breakdown, restocking, cleaning, and other event support duties as needed to help ensure a smooth and successful event experience.
Buffet attendants - Keep a close watch on the buffet line to ensure food items remain stocked and presentable. Monitor inventory levels, communicate replenishment needs to kitchen staff, and maintain a clean, organized serving area throughout the event. Assist with event setup and breakdown, light cleaning, and other duties as needed to support a positive guest experience.
Dishroom - Will collect, sort, wash, sanitize, and store dishes, cookware, utensils, and serving equipment. Assists with maintaining a clean and organized dishroom, supports event setup and breakdown, and follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced event environment.
Tailgate Event Staff - Will assist with set up, clean up, and serving of food items at TailGreat Park at Ohio University (near Convo).
These are temporary shifts related to events. Dates and times available are below. Pay rates range between $14 and $15 per hour.
