Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (or higher) in event management, a technical field, or a closely related area, plus 2+ years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the go-to person on site for event technology-audio, video, basic networking, and webcasts.
  • Support live events from start to finish (set up, monitor during the event, and troubleshoot issues quickly).
  • Meet with clients to understand what they want the event to achieve and what technical support is needed.
  • Check and maintain A/V systems (displays, mics, speakers, control panels, and conference tools) to keep them working well.
  • Stay up to date on new A/V tools and suggest upgrades or improvements when they make sense.
  • Write and update simple instructions and troubleshooting notes so others can support the systems consistently.
  • Other special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Strong expertise in live sound reinforcement and audio system design
  • Experience supporting high-visibility executive or VIP events
  • Ability to operate mixers, wireless microphone systems, and DSP based audio systems
  • Knowledge of outdoor acoustics, portable PA deployment, and power distribution fundamentals
  • Exceptional problem-solving and in the moment adaptation skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation
  • A collaborative approach, working well with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to delivering polished, professional events that reflect institutional excellence
