We are seeking an experienced Events & Community Engagement Manager to lead the planning and execution of fundraising events, community programming, and strategic engagement initiatives. Job Details

Job Duties:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple fundraising events and community programs throughout the year from initial concept through post event evaluation.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, event plans, budgets, and run of show documents to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage venue selection, vendor relationships, contracts, catering, entertainment, audiovisual services, rentals, and other event logistics.
  • Secure sponsorships, in kind donations, auction items, and community partnerships that support fundraising and engagement goals.
  • Coordinate guest registration, invitations, ticketing, seating arrangements, and volunteer recruitment in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Oversee event management platforms to support registration, auctions, donor tracking, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain standardized event processes, documentation, and playbooks to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate community engagement initiatives, outreach events, speaking opportunities, and organizational participation in local events.
  • Support facility rental operations by coordinating logistics, maintaining client relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase venue utilization.
  • Track event performance metrics, budgets, attendance, revenue, expenses, and overall success while preparing post event reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development, marketing, program, and operations teams to ensure events align with organizational goals and brand standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience managing large scale events from planning through execution.
  • Experience using event management software, donor databases, or registration platforms is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience with project management software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and with external partners.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to support events and travel locally when required.
  • Must successfully complete required background screenings, including a physical, TB test, and drug test.
  • Must be certified, or able to become certified, in CPR and First Aid.
