Job Title: Events Data Associate
Location: Remote (must commit to 40 hours/week EST)
Employment Type: Long-term contract (ongoing)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Events Data Associate to join our client's team in the events sector. In this role, you will contribute to data management, reporting, and coordination of event platforms, ensuring data accuracy and supporting event operations.
Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute event attendee reports from Cvent; conduct data cleaning to ensure registration accuracy and resolve record discrepancies.
- Produce pre- and post-event overviews capturing key metrics: member status, geography, professional segmentation, and attendance trends.
- Create ad hoc reports from Cvent and Salesforce supporting analytical projects, data integrations, and marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain a data dashboard in Power BI.
- Enter and maintain event session data across Cvent and Attendee Hub.
- Monitor and respond to event inboxes with professionalism and clear written communication.
- Support the expense reimbursement process for Committee members and main stage speakers.
Requirements
- Salesforce (Lightning) — report generation and record management
- Cvent — event registration, session setup, and data exports
- Advanced Excel — data cleaning, pivot tables, formulas
- Strong written communication — clear, professional inbox and stakeholder correspondence
- Attention to detail — comfortable catching and correcting data errors (name misspellings, duplicate records, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Power BI and/or Tableau — dashboard creation and data visualization
- Smartsheets and Microsoft Forms
- Attendee Hub (conference mobile app management)
- SurveyMonkey and Signup
