Events play a crucial role in how guests experience JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, and we are currently seeking Part-Time Events Lead team members as we prepare for our busy season. The Part-Time Events Support assists in executing on-site winery events, ensuring that each guest has a seamless and memorable experience. You will work closely with the Events Manager and collaborate with the hospitality, culinary, and tasting room teams to provide exceptional experiences that reflect the JUSTIN brand. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, passionate about hospitality, and has an enthusiasm for wine, food, and events. Your responsibilities will include assisting with event setup, service, coordination, and breakdown while maintaining the high standards associated with the JUSTIN brand.
This is a part-time position (up to 19 hours per week) that will be scheduled as needed to cover events and busy weekends. Work days, hours, and duties will vary based on business needs and the event location.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tablescapes, décor, signage, and service stations
- Support event execution, ensuring timelines and service standards are met
- Provide warm, professional guest service throughout events
- Assist with food and wine service, including passing trays and maintaining presentation standards
- Coordinate with internal teams (culinary, tasting room, operations) to ensure smooth event flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events
- Help manage event inventory, including glassware, linens, and supplies
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve issues to enhance the overall experience
- Previous events experience in a restaurant, winery or hospitalty environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A polished and professional demeanor
- Basic wine knowledge or a willingness to learn
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or ability to obtain)
Working Conditions
- Primarily on-site at the winery and event venues
- Requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Fast-paced, physically active environment
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.50 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
