We are seeking a dedicated Eves Adult Surgical/Operating Room Tech to join our prestigious Downtown Adult OR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a renowned level 1 trauma center, contributing to life-saving procedures and advancing your career in surgical technology.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in an operating room within a level 1 or 2 trauma center
- Proven expertise in trauma, ortho, general, ENT, vascular, GYN, and bariatric cases
- Certified surgical technologist with scrub experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform surgical tech duties with minimal supervision in an acute care setting
- Successful pre-employment health clearance
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in teaching hospitals or large acute care facilities
- Familiarity with pediatric surgical cases
- Additional certifications or specialized training in trauma or specialty areas
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- At least 3 years of recent OR experience within the last 4 years at a comparable facility
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work evening shifts, including a mix of 4 8-hour and 4 12-hour shifts (11:00-19:30, 15:00-23:30, 11:00-23:30)
- No history of license or certification suspensions or investigations
- Willing to travel or relocate if applicable
