Qualification:
Master's Degree in Counseling or other related field
Full licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, ECT) or associate licensure actively pursuing full licensure (LAPC, LAMFT, LMSW, ECT)
Special needs of population serviced:
Work requires the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct consumer services appropriate to youth ages 16-30 with First Episode Psychosis/and may have dual diagnoses.
Staff should be able to:
complete all related trainings initially and annually
complete all required assessments with youth and their families complete documentation in a timely manner (24 hrs from date of service)
complete insurance authorizations for services provided
keep all credentials and certificates up to date
participate with fellow employees in a respectful and professional manner
attend all state and agency required trainings and meetings
follow contract guidelines
maintain productivity standards set forth by agency
Assigned duties include:
oversight of caseload of up to 30 youth ages 16-30 who have experienced First Episode Psychosis within 24 months, collaborates in a team based approach with other designated staff, leads weekly team meetings, provides assessments, ongoing therapy, groups, family, ect. in-clinic and community, required to meet minimal contacts per month with each client set forth by contract, provide collaborative documentation, attend collaborative meetings with staff and other youth serving stakeholders for continuity of care.
