EVS Aide Surgery Description:
Performs a variety of routine and specialized housekeeping related duties in the cleaning of both sterile and non-sterile areas, including but not limited to: Operating Room Suites Procedure Rooms Central Sterile Processing Central Sterile Supply areas
Cleans and sanitizes the Operating Room suites after procedures using proper techniques per Infection Control policies and procedures.
Primary responsibility is for the effective use of proper methods and material in cleaning and caring for the spaces and equipment.
Able to follow instructions and approved cleaning schedules.
Ability to handle stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
Maintains a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Demonstrates effective implementation of technical skills.
Performs other duties.
Education/Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience in the terminal cleaning of the sterile environment within a healthcare setting is preferred.
