EVS Operations Manager

The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospital remains clean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors. As a member of this team, the main duties will be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.

Job Description:

Full-Time, Second Shift

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the department.
• Coordinating the tasks of the frontline team members and acting as a liaison for the department providing the highest possible level of service to our patients, visitors, and the community we serve.
• Monitoring of ongoing matters related to system/hospital initiatives in order to assure highest patient and customer satisfaction levels, strong team member relations, and achievements of goals set by the department.
• Ensuring that all personnel under their operational influence comply with all hospital, government, and system policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two years job related experience
• A minimum of 2 years' experience required with 1-2 years of supervisory experience in support service-related fields with high customer services and/or 1-2 years of Environmental Services.
