Peregrine Team is hiring Environmental Services Technicians (Renovation Clean-Up) for a well-known hospital in Orange County, CA!
Pay: $23–25/hour
Job Duties
The Environmental Services Technician (Renovation Clean-Up) supports hospital renovation and construction projects by maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas. This position is responsible for cleaning newly renovated spaces, removing dust and debris, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring all assigned areas are ready for occupancy while following hospital safety and infection prevention standards.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned renovation and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, and floors.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, countertops, and railings.
- Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other interior surfaces as assigned.
- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other consumables.
- Maintain break rooms and common areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Remove construction dust, dirt, and debris from renovated spaces using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
- Safely use, handle, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of commercial, janitorial, housekeeping, environmental services, or post-construction cleaning experience preferred.
- Hospital, healthcare, or renovation cleaning experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in active renovation or construction environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Weekend availability required.
