Overview: Ignite is seeking an EW Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Coordinator to support USSTRATCOM's Joint EMSO Center (JEC) at Offutt AFB. This role focuses on advancing electromagnetic warfare operations through modeling and simulation, with a primary emphasis on EMBM-J development, testing, instruction, and supporting EMS IT Modernization efforts.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Support EMBM-J development efforts, with a focus on modeling and simulation activities involving EMSO emitters, transmitters, and receivers, and adapting to evolving user requirements.

• Identify requirements for analytical tools, software, and hardware in current and future M&S environments related to the electromagnetic spectrum.

• Lead and participate in the development and integration of JEMSO M&S capabilities.

• Provide EMSO subject matter expertise to DoW forums, guiding M&S development and supporting EMS IT Modernization Working Group initiatives.

• Bridge existing and future M&S environments to accurately characterize the electromagnetic operating environment from tactical to strategic levels.

• Define and validate new analysis and modeling requirements, including effects-based operations, planning, and analysis; test new product deliveries for JEMSO-integrated M&S applications (CDRL A003).

• Conduct studies and campaign-level analysis using models such as STK, STORM, AFSIM, ASCOT, the PLEXSYS ecosystem, and JCATS.

• Produce technical documentation, reports, and briefings as required.

• Independently explore and self-learn new or in-development EMSO M&S programs; conduct software testing, gather and provide user feedback, develop use cases, track progress, and deliver briefs, demos, or training to JEC staff and stakeholders on EMBM-J and related M&S tools.

Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, physics, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an EW operator, Spectrum Planner, or in an EMSO related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tactical, operational, and strategic EMSO planning.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations modeling and simulation development and technical support.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Understanding of joint doctrine.

• Expertise with STK, STORM, AFSIM, ASCOT, or JCATS models.

• Proven ability to work independently, self-learn new systems, and proactively support program development and feedback cycles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EMBM-J or similar EMSO modeling and simulation systems.

• Experience with the PLEXSYS ecosystem and other advanced M&S tools.

• Experience supporting JEMSO M&S development in joint or combatant command environments.

• Familiarity with DoW EW/EMSO policy and joint doctrine.

• Experience in campaign-level analysis and effects-based operations planning.

• Strong communication skills for technical briefings, live demonstrations, and training.

• Experience collaborating with development agencies (e.g., DISA) and supporting software testing, user feedback, use case development, providing live demonstrations, and training.
