Adecco is partnering with a well-established client in Everett, WA to hire Shipping & Receiving Clerks for a temp-to-hire opportunity. In this position, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all materials are properly receiving, inspected, stored, and shipped according to company standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting customer requirements, and upholding quality and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** **Shipping** + Build packaging for outgoing shipments using appropriate boxes, pallets, and materials + Accurately pack customer orders based on order specifications and shipping requirements + Ensure all outgoing packages meet warehouse standards: no visible damage, properly sealed, and labeled correctly for standard, fragile, or hazardous goods + Operate scanners and computer systems to process shipments using customer databases + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times **Receiving** + Process all incoming deliveries, including parcels, freight, and containers + Unload, open, inspect, de-trash, and sort inbound shipments + Verify contents against packaging slips and purchase orders; report discrepancies or damages + Stage and deliver received goods to appropriate departments or storage locations + Assist with put-away tasks to ensure timely and accurate inventory updates + Operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks (training or certification may be provided) **General** + Follow all established safety protocols and procedures + Provide cross-functional support to shipping or receiving functions as needed + Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors + Assist in inventory management and cycle counts as needed **Qualifications** : + Prior warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred + Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) + Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions + Basic computer and scanner proficiency + Strong organizational and communication skills **Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
