OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: Exam Coordinator

LOCATION: St. Paul Campus

PAY RATE: $18/hour

HOURS: 20 hours per week

Our office is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please indicate specific weekday availability when applying. This position begins in late August 2026.

We are hiring an Exam Coordinator to work 20 hours per week. This is a graduate student position, it is not available to undergraduate students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Exam Coordination:

• Management of the exam accommodation process, which involves the following:
• Managing student exam requests
• Building the daily exam calendar
• Assigning exam readers/scribes per student need
• Communicating with students as needed regarding logistics
• Printing exams
• Communicating with professors as needed
• Use of the Accommodate database
• Collaborating with other exam coordinator

Student Employee Training/Delegation:

• Training undergraduate student employees who assist our office with exam proctoring, reading, scribing, and uploading of completed exams to Accommodate database

Other duties as assigned:

• Departmental administrative support, such as sending accommodation letters at the beginning of the semester, document remediation, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled and degree-seeking in a St. Thomas graduate program
• Respect for and understanding of people with disabilities
• Attention to detail
• Strong typing and reading skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite required

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
