Exam Developer (Remote) – CrowdStrikeLocation: Remote.We are seeking individuals with experience in the design and development of assessments, exams, and/or credentials to help maintain and grow our certification exam portfolio and preparation materials.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate workshops with SMEs, including Job Task Analysis (JTA), Minimally Qualified Candidate (MQC) definition, item writing, technical review, and standard setting.Conduct routine exam and item analysis to assess performance and quality, and recommend updates as needed.Regularly review and update existing exams to ensure content relevance and alignment with industry standards and product changes.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create exam blueprints, test specifications, item development guidelines, and marketing materials.Engage with customers regarding exam preparation, multiple attempts, remediation, and individual performance records.Communicate with vendors to maintain critical functions for exam candidates such as registration, delivery, results notification, and digital badge distribution.Contribute to the overall growth of the CrowdStrike certification program by consistently seeking efficient and effective process improvements.QualificationsCapable of leading workshops with multiple participants and business leaders.Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills.Capable of completing tasks on time with limited supervision.Desire to grow and expand both technical and interpersonal skills.Project and time management skills.Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.Bonus PointsFamiliarity with all steps of the exam development process, including MQC definition, JTA facilitation, item writing, technical review, and standard setting.Ability to identify and address potential biases or cultural sensitivities in assessment content.Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including subject matter experts, instructional designers, psychometricians, and technology specialists.Strong knowledge of assessment principles, psychometrics, and best practices in item development.Experience developing high‑stakes exams, certification tests, or assessments.Proficiency in using assessment authoring tools or item banking systems.Familiarity with psychometric analysis techniques and standard setting methodologies.Familiarity with industry standards, guidelines, and regulations related to exam development (e.g., ISO 17024, ETS Standards for Quality and Fairness).EducationBachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
