This position is responsible for organizing and implementing administrative systems and procedures. The role serves as the principal source of information for the unit, project, or program. Key responsibilities include gathering and maintaining data to assist in preparing reports, often utilizing a variety of computer software.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial, personnel, administrative, and student records.
Ensure smooth day-to-day flow of communications within the department.
Compose, proofread, edit, and prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials using word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Arrange for the use of facilities and plan meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Contribute to unit goals by accomplishing clerical or administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Handle complex and confidential information with discretion.
Competency using a variety of office computer software.
Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge of email calendar, word processing, and spreadsheets.
Prior office experience is required.
