What will you do?
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes safely and productively.
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Follow all safety standards and site protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Work with the crew to meet milestones on time and within budget.
- Report malfunctions, defects, or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
- Help with site preparation, grading, and end-of-day cleanup.
- Keep accurate logs of hours, inspections, and maintenance.
What do you need to succeed?
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven heavy equipment operating experience in construction or industrial settings.
- Hands-on proficiency with bulldozers and excavators is required.
- Current driver’s license plus appropriate operator certifications.
- Thorough understanding of safety rules and regulatory practices.
- Self-starter who also works well within a team.
- Strong communication skills on busy jobsites.
- Stamina to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
