Applied Ex Inc is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Excavation Estimator/Project Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for excavation, grading, and earthwork projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed scopes of work
• Manage multiple excavation projects simultaneously from pre-construction through completion
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project conditions and requirements
• Track project budgets, schedules, and progress reports while communicating updates to stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in excavation, earthwork, or heavy civil construction estimating and/or project management
• Strong understanding of excavation methods, grading, utilities, and site development
• Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communicator with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in and around Salt Lake City, UT
