Responsibilities: This person will be responsible for unloading barges safely and efficiently, as well as the general maintenance of the equipment. This position is required to keep close communication with the Operations Manager for safety purposes. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

What You’ll Do

• Unloading barges with minimal breakdowns or delays
• Keep constant communication with the office to ensure safety
• Take measures to prevent spills or waste materials
• General maintenance of crane and loader
• Keep crane and loader in operating order
• Communicate with supervisor regarding necessary repairs
• Operate the front-end loader when needed
• Grease and maintain loader
• Keep cab and working area clean

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Crane operating experience
• Mechanical experience
