Hybrid work 2 days in office weeklyOverviewKnexus is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistantto serve as the key operating partner to our CEO. This role is responsible for heavycalendar management, travel coordination, executive meeting preparation, and day-to-day business administrative workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-pacedenvironment, balances strategic preparation with execution, and acts as a forcemultiplier for executive bandwidth.This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.Responsibilities Own the CEO's calendar, scheduling, and travel logistics, prioritizing to protectfocus time and create daily operational buffers Manage the CEO's inbox, inbound requests, and correspondence, draftingcommunications in the CEO's voice and filtering items that require escalating Prepare briefings, agendas, talking points, and follow-up notes for customermeetings, internal leadership sessions, board/investor meetings, and partnerdiscussions Track decisions, project owners, and deadlines across the leadership team todrive seamless operational follow-through Coordinate logistical planning for corporate offsites, customer visits, industryevents, and periodic Washington, D.C.-area meetings Handle sensitive and confidential company material with the utmost discretion,including financials, personnel issues, deal discussions, and clearance data Build and maintain lightweight, practical systems for the leadership team, such asshared trackers, meeting cadences, and briefing templates Act as an administrative bridge between executive workflows and core companyfunctions (program, capture, finance, HR, security) to ensure key deadlines donot turn into fire drillsQualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration,communications, or a related field5+ years of progressive experience supporting a CEO, founder, generalmanager, or similarly demanding executive-ideally in a fast-changing, small tomid-sized organization Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to seamlessly shiftbetween high-level prep and routine administrative follow-through Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to turn messy emailthreads into concise, actionable briefs Proficiency with digital workplace tools including Google Workspace, Microsoft365, and electronic signature systems (e.g., DocuSign) You must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. government securityclearance (Secret).About KnexusAt Knexus, we are at the forefront of AI development for the government, with a missionto revolutionize how the government serves its citizens.
