POSITION PURPOSE
Manages the day-to-day business activities of the CEO and prepares highly confidential financial reports and other documents. Oversees critical disaster evacuation accommodations for all level A staff and volunteer staff. Coordinates and schedules meetings, appointments, conference calls, and travel accommodations for CEO, Senior Management and Board of Directors. Maintains confidential records and files. Responsible for providing administrative support to Senior Management and Human Resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Manages the day-to-day business activities of the CEO.
Performs specialized or confidential administrative duties for CEO, and Board of Directors, including researching data and preparing reports as needed.
Assumes responsibility for preparing and maintaining assigned records and reports.
Assumes responsibility for building security.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective business relations with members, vendors, and the general public.
Assumes responsibility for effectively completing and assisting with human resource functions.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relations with area staff and management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Understanding of document formats, spreadsheets, and business communications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five or more years of directly related experience involving the following:
Preparing highly confidential and sensitive information
Preparing corporate-wide financial statistical reports
Assisting in internal/external problems with members, vendors, employees, guests.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Highly proficient in various computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics/presentations.
Must have ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information.
Must have ability to maintain professionalism in dealing with the board of directors, employees, vendors, members, and guests.
Excellent oral and written communications abilities.
Strong typing and telephone capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and member service skills.
Well organized, attentive to detail, and able to work well independently.
Able to operate basic office equipment including 10-key, calculator, telephone, fax, and copy machines.

AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
